Several of us brandnewbies had a "set up" session a couple nights ago and when I got my 02AT set up I could not get any subaudibles pls repeater tones nothing. However, I am good to go on Simplex mode. What is the likely culprit? Is this something that can be repaired at home? |

I found a copy here, where the manual discusses the PL tone settings. Are you pressing "FUNC" "1", and then the 2-digit code for the selected PL frequency? For example, after setting the repeater input and output frequencies, if you wanted to set the PL to 131.8, the manual says you would press "FUNC" "1" "20" (where "20" corresponds to 131.8). What is happening to indicate that you do not have the PL set? Is it because the repeater is not responding? Have you confirmed that you are transmitting on the repeater's input frequency? ---Michael |
