What does the "Koch method" mean when speaking of CW?

Named after Ludwig Koch, this popular method starts by learning two characters in Morse code. After you can consistently copy them at 90% or greater accuracy, an additional character is added. As each character is added, you continue to work toward achieving the same accuracy as before. This keeps going until all characters have been added.

Learn CW Online (http://lcwo.net) is a web site that uses the Koch method to teach CW. You can see how the method works there.

Interesting site. For learning Morse code on a computer, but without the web, I think the best program available is the G4FON Koch CW Trainer. It can be downloaded at http://www.g4fon.net. ---Michael
