This should be simple and maybe I am just overlooking it somewhere, but once a Vanity sign is applied for and granted, I see that they charge something like $13.50 for the issuance of the callsign. My question is: Do you have to pay the fee for the vanity callsign everytime you renew it, or does the fee cover it for life. Basically, should I be expecting to have to pay this fee every ten years (though not a big deal, just curious more than anything) or will the one time secure it for me until I become a silent key? It is a cost for 10 years. When you need to renew it, you will pay the price that vanity calls cost at that time. It goes up and down each year slightly. K2DSL - David |
