I got my Technician ticket in February 2009, upgraded to General in March. Before I try for Amateur Extra, I want to spend some time on the air, preferably try out HF.

I currently have a *very* small Yaesu VX-3R handheld dual-bander, but the 70 cm band is off-limits here due to PAVE PAWS. So far I'm limited to the 2 meter band, at 1.5 watts. (QRP by necessity!)
