Retired RF Engineer and Licensed 46 years in the Amateur Radio Service, and Commercial Radio Services as a Radiotelephone and Radiotelegraph Operator . Worked in the military as an RF Radio Technician and after retirement from the military, worked as the Senior RF Engineer (RFE) and Program Manager (PM) in the Communication Electronics departments of RF Repairs & Service Company, LLC, I-PAC CATV Repair Company, Inc., SanSys Company, Inc., Philips Consumer Communications (PCC) Company, Inc., Motorola, Inc. Personal Communications Sector (PCS) and Motorola, Inc. Semiconductor Product Sector (SPS). At these companies, I was the Senior RF Engineer and a team member of RF Engineers who Designed, Maintained, Manufactured and Operated (DMMO), Medium Frequency (MF), High Frequency (HF), Very High Frequency (VHF), Ultra High Frequency (UHF) and Super High Frequency (SHF): 1. Solid State, Class ‘AB’ Linear and Class ‘C’ Non-Linear RF Transceivers. 2. Solid State, Class ‘AB’ Linear and Class ‘C’ Non-Linear RF Power Amplifiers.
3. Solid State, Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA), Frequency Division Multiple Access (FDMA), Global System for Mobile communications (GSM) and Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA), Cellular and PCS Radiotelephones. 4. Marconi (1/4 wave, ½ wave and 5/8 wave) Vertical and Yagi-Uda Parasitic Array Antennas.
Earned the AASEET September 1971, BSEE December 1977, BSET October 2003, MBA February 2006 and the MSEE April 2006. My other Certifications and Licenses include, the Journeyman Certified Electronics Technician (JCET) Certificate from ISCET, FCC GROL,[Formerly FCC First Class RadioTelephone (P1) Operators License from 1976 until 1986], FCC First Class Radiotelegraph (T1) Operators License.
